The high-performance Type S model is expected to get a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which will generate 355 ponies and 354 lb-ft.
Fuel Economy
EPA estimates the front-wheel-drive TLX models to earn 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Moving up to the SH-AWD lowers the rating to 21 mpg city and 29 highway.
Interior
Like what we have come to appreciate about every Acura, the new TLX sports a well-built interior with nicer cabin materials. Its snazzier interior means that the TLX can now compete better against other big players in its class. This four-door sedan seats up to five. Its front seats are plush and supportive, and its rear seats are not much like the front, but they are Ok. This luxury midsize car also affords an average trunk space in its class.
